Your self-drive speedboat adventure starts from Mellieha Bay, where you’ll receive a quick briefing on boat operation and safety. Set off to explore Malta’s breath-taking coastline at your own pace. Yes, you can hire a boat without a license as long as you have boat driving experience and the ability to handle a boat safely.
You must be over 21 years old to drive the boat. These are our rules for boat hire.
No. The boat will be fully fuelled before departure. After your rental, the tank is refilled and you only pay for the fuel used at €1.80 per litre.
No deposit is charged. However, the driver is fully responsible for any damage caused by negligence, loss of anchor, or propeller damage.
You may bring soft drinks and water. Alcohol is not permitted on board. Any alcohol found will be held and returned after the rental.
You must arrive 30 minutes before your rental time. Late arrivals will have time deducted from their rental. If you are more than 1 hour late without notifying us, your booking will be cancelled.
Boats must be driven at a safe cruising speed. Racing and full-speed operation are strictly prohibited. The driver must avoid crowded bays and restricted areas.
The music radio operates via Bluetooth connection.
Yes you can bring food and drinks and ice cubes .
